Tokyo Zombie sits in a plain room on top of tatami mats. His robe is clean and pristine as always. There is nobody else around. The room and simple and without ornament. It is just him and the audience.
“At the end of times, it is said that the world will be burned up by seven suns. Everything on earth will be burned up. All life would have ceased to exist by that point. So that might be a particular solace for most, but I welcome the end. This is unavoidable and a part of the cycle of all things. Max Japan is no different.
When I first joined this organization I was looking for that bastion of Japanese puroresu again. I have fought so many battles around the world. I wanted to come back home and see how wrestling was doing. If it was thriving or if it was hurting. I found Max Japan Pro and it was what I was looking for. Many people claim to be big in Japan. There is a certain aura that we have in this land that many people outside our world want to aspire to. It is the attitude of a warriors way that has been lost to other cultures. It means something to many to fight here.
Despite what you may think, I do not object to this entirely. I joined the Demon Brigade to test these people out. I wanted to show them what a Japanese warrior could do in this ring and how one should comport themselves outside of it. I was to be the example to the masses and this message stuck. I hope I fought honorably and I was able to help many outsiders to learn what it meant to be a warrior. It did not matter if you were boastful or if you were humble. What matters is how you fight in the ring.
I Fought alongside my allies many times. I fought closest with GRIM. We were able to establish ourselves as the tag team to beat in Max Japan and Lions Road itself. We did things on our own terms, but always for the greater good. We made people want to come to Max Japan and try to take our titles from us. Now that this finally happened I don’t know if the titles are in good hands. I do know that our presence will still be felt in the Mirai Dome for Pro Wrestling Toukon 2. David Troy and AJ Knight will meet their final test from the land of the rising sun. I can say that we will be facing people that have embraced this land. We look forward to showing them what champions are made of.
I believe I have shown the very same spirit alone. Life is a cycle of death and rebirth and that is also true for the reign of a champion. Lord Zenki has been the stalwart here in Max Japan. He has shown what true domination is. Mike Musket is uncouth and rebellious. If anyone can beat Zenki it is the wild man from the forests. I know they both have what it takes to be champions, but if I had my say, Zenki will be victorious. Musket thinks he cannot be controlled but we have been controlling this company for a long time.
I did not suffer a loss in the J1 Summit. That has earned me this final match to close out this chapter in Japanese puroresu. I fought and earned my place at the top of the J1 Summit with all my heart and strength. I am grateful that I was able to show Zenki one thing. I believe I showed Zenki that I am just as great a warrior as he is. That is why I want to eventually meet him for the final match. The MAX Heavyweight Championship is something that has been in my periphery.
It would be a great honor to win this championship once and for all.
To destroy it.
There would be no greater example of loss and relief from that loss.than to take Puroresu’s greatest prize and bury it in the sand. Emptiness is form. Form is emptiness. That is my final lesson for you all. Max Japan will go out in a blazing fire just like the world. It will be me stoking the flames. That would be my greatest honor. Do not worry. Like the title will say in Tokyo: Nothing ever dies.”
