NICKNAME(S) - Dynamite, The Survivor, The Last King
HEIGHT & WEIGHT - 5'10", 202 lbs
DATE OF BIRTH - October 24th, 1980
PLACE OF BIRTH - Blackwood, NJ
YEAR OF DEBUT - 1997
ALIGNMENT - Leaning face
PERSONALITY - A survivor. A cagey veteran. A man who's seen it all and once let it change him. Now that he's finally written his name in the history books though, he seems to have taken a much more realistic view of his place in wrestling; he knows that someday, someone will best him once and for all. Until then, though, he's going to fight tooth and nail, and force his opponents to give their all. He was once seen as bitter, but a lot of that bitterness and hate has subsided, replaced by competitiveness and a sense of obligation towards wrestling in general.
EQUIPMENT - Green and black two-tone trunks (think the kind Samoa Joe wears or KENTA used to wear), with Troy’s name written in green on the black side in Thai writing. Patent black Asami kick pads, knee pads, elbow pads, and boots.
CASUAL ATTIRE - Casual, simple, minimalist almost. Inspired by the working-class aesthetic of hardcore punk.
WALKOUT ATTIRE - Generally he usually comes out wearing his ring gear and nothing else.
WALKOUT THEME - "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine
BRIEF HISTORY - A wrestler since 1997, David Troy has taken on many names and many faces, and seemed to struggle in attaining success and recognition. That all changed once he joined a Midwestern outfit called Lion's Road; there, he staked his claim as one of the best wrestlers today with many remarkable fights and feuds, culminating in his rise as King of Lions World's Heavyweight Champion. Though Lion's Road is no more, David has gotten wind of its successor in MLWA and signed on, bringing with him the World's Heavyweight Championship. He now awaits the challenges MLWA will bring his way.
PREVIOUS INJURIES - Broken ankle. Cracked ribs. Rhabdomyolysis brought on by a severe beating. Also, ruptured liver and spleen from the same beat down. Cracked shins from Muay Thai-related injuries. Busted knees. Two major concussions.
SPORTSMANSHIP - He'll shake hands. Conduct himself like a professional in the ring. If he's working heel, he'll get every bit of flex and leverage he can out of the rules, but he won't outright cheat. But through it all he sees himself as a professional, and will expect his opponents to give it all they got.
FIGHTING STYLE - Strong Style-influenced cagey veteran. Yuji Nagata comes to mind. Current-stage Daniel Bryan as well. Aleister Black too.
