Ōkuninushi Divine Memorial Tournament
A one-time tournament during the ATTACK OF THE BISON!! Tour taking place in Hokkaido, this event was held to honor the Shinto divinity, Ōkuninushi. An 8-man single elimination tournament began in earnest that featured numerous talents. In the end, the ultraviolent death match sensation "Rebel Heart" Masatake Kawamata would use his toughness to overcome GRIM in a tournament final that headlined the final night of the tour.
Quarterfinals:
GRIM defeats Noah Reigner (13:01) via submission with a cobra clutch.
Masatake Kawamata defeats Shigeru Toyama (7:02) via pinfall after the Shouten.
Tokyo Zombie defeats Mitsuo Shimada (16:19) via referee stoppage (punch to abdomen).
AJ Knight defeats Mike Musket (25:28) via pinfall with a Victory Roll.
Semifinals:
GRIM defeats AJ Knight (12:09) via submission with an Achilles tendon hold.
Masatake Kawamata defeats Tokyo Zombie (13:40) via pinfall after the Hanzoku Kougeki.
Final:
Masatake Kawamata defeats GRIM (30:03) via pinfall with a backslide pin.
