Well, well, once again it seems that the power of our mighty Lord Zenki brings the most worthy of challengers. But what can the monster known as the mountain really do against our Mighty Lord of Thunder and Light, the Demon Child of Fire, Lord Zenki the MAX-J Heavyweight Champion.
But out Lord isn’t one to underestimate his own kinsmen. Zenki has watched the rise of Shinjiro since he made his way unto MAX with a careful eye. Lord Zenki knows what it is like to be defeated by the hands of Gaijin filth like Pulver, he also knows what it is like to get the sweetest of revenges, more importantly he knows what it is like to defeat someone like Irvine, kicking him to the curb like the filth that he is.
But most importantly, our Lord Zenki knows by the look in Shinjiro’s eye that he enjoyed every minute of it and plans to attempt to do the same upon him.
But our master has never been one to shy away from the challenge.
Zealots stand around a the circle, blocking all camera’s from getting a view of the inside of the circle. Chiaki Enno stands at the edge of the dirt training circle before her, to her left stands Sanou Bishida, writer for the Hong Kong Express. His pale white suit matches her long priestess gown as they both stand watching as Lord Zenki sits in the middle of the circle as an aura of red light, almost encompasses his entire body…as he hovers three feet above the ground.
“Madam Chiaki, the end of the tour is upon us and it seems as though chaos has been trying to engulf the federation. The Gaijin seem to be hell bent on tearing each other, as well as MAX Japan apart. We all know Lord Zenki’s view on outsiders but what plans does he have to fix this awful mess.”
Chiaki’s hands stay folded across her chest, her hands resting in the inside of her sleeves, her head lifting almost as if coming out of a trance like state. As her head turns to face Sanou she smiles with the most innocent of grins at the young man.
“Lord Zenki is never surprised to be proven right however, he would like for all MAX fans to focus on the good things that have happened from this tour. As the first Native Champion MAX seems to never have been more united than at any time since it’s creation. While the gaijin may be causing chaos everywhere they step foot, there has never been such a united Japanese cause. All of our promotion has united against these invaders. The Tag Team Titles where secured, major gaijin have been put to rest, and Japanese support has been filling every arena.”
A camera man tries to penetrate the Zealot line and is sent tumbling backwards into his press team. Sanou seems distracted for a moment, whereas Chiaki’s face has remained calm and pleasant.
“But what of his upcoming match with The Mountain? Surely Lord Zenki can’t believe he can destroy the man known as the mountain. Surely he can’t fully respect his challenger?”
“Lord Zenki has nothing but the upmost respect for the man they call The Mountain. So much so that Lord Zenki has completely changed his entire training management. He knows that he cannot simply out muscle a man like Shinjiro, at least not without destroying the man’s entire mortal body. He must learn to tap into something that lies deep within him.”
From the center of the circle a massive explosion erupts that sends the everyone stumbling forward, tripping over one another, all except for Chiaki. In the center of the circle Lord Zenki is nowhere to be seen, the ground under him is scorched as what seems like white flakes of light fall from the sky from an unknown source. Everyone looks around baffled.
“Where is Lord Zenki? What sort of attack is this?”
The ground begins to rumble as Chiaki’s face goes from one of a pleasant child to a serious adult. The ground begins to rumble underneath all gathered as their faces begin to be corrupted with the feelings of panic. A swift hard gust of wind picks up as a brilliant shining light ignites the sky.
Everyone’s jaw drops as the form of their master, Lord Zenki, descends from the sky shining with the brilliance of a diamond.
Sanou looks over to Chiaki in surprise.
“What is this?”
Chiaki’s face turns to his smiling.
“Lord Zenki has unlocked his Ultra Instinct.”
