BIOGRAPHY – Abandoned at birth, and adopted by his uncle, an avid wrestling fan, Hammerstein grew up watching and loving the sport. Trained for the sport by an unscrupulous teacher, Hammerstein found his place in the sport as a fan favorite. For the majority of his career, Jacob Hammerstein did everything to please the fans, and in so doing became a joke to most of his fellow wrestlers. But after July 29th, 2017, no one's laughing anymore.
Hammerstein's a bit complicated. In ring, his view is the end justifies the means, damn the consequences. Outside the ring, he’s a dedicated family man and a lover of animals. He's a pragmatist and,likely, certifiably insane.

WALKOUT DESCRIPTION –
Parkway Drive’s The Sound of Violence blares from the arena’s PA system and the crowd reacts with a roar as Hammerstein slowly steps through the curtain, his manager Reese Kennedy right behind him. He stops at the top of the stage, drinking in the reaction of the crowd, both positive and negative, a huge grin on his face. He waves his hands towards himself, inviting the crowd to get louder. Kennedy pats him on the back and begins making his way to the ring. He walks up the ring steps and wipes his boots on the apron Kennedy holds the ropes open, and Hammerstein climbs in the ring. As soon as he’s in the ring he runs as hard as he can into the turnbuckles, then turns and runs across the ring, slamming into the opposite corner. Hammerstein runs to the corner to his left, climbs to the middle rope, and raises his arms in the air. He goes to the opposite corner, repeating the gesture and taking in the noise of the crowd.

FIGHTING STYLE –
Absolutely wild hardcore brawler. Would be happuer exchanging chairshots in the crowd than wrestling holds in the ring, but realizes that's where the matches are won. Utilizes suplexes (Hammerplexes) and other high impact wrestling holds to brutalized and wear down his opponents for the finish.
SPORTSMANSHIP –
Hammer has never met a wrestling rule he didn't break, nor a win he wouldn't take.
Usually will not shake hands, which is ok, considering few trust him enough to shake his hand. Yet, will “give the devil his due,” and will call someone who defeats him fair and square the better man.
