Moments after the match...
To say that Maximum Japan sits at the epicenter of a swirling mass of controversy and uncertainty might be something of an understatement. The very public clash of ideologies between owner Chikashi Enatsu and Geneal Manager Masaaki Sano has brought a bevy of press to the proceedings tonight, each looking for their headlining stories for the late edition blogs and podcasts.
As usual, as many people as possible both foreign and domestic have been jam-packed into the the smallish press room that the wrestlers funnel through after their matches. Go Gensai and Hiro Minimoto have only just blown through like a cyclone, ignoring the media completely on their way to hailing a cab to elsewhere. Their story was far from finished tonight.
Moments later, before the commotion of Gensai could even settle, another stampede of humanity finds its way into the overstuffed press room.
“Gyat-DAMN that weaselly sum’ma-BITCH!”
Frank Dylan James lumbers into the room, half-carrying-half-dragging Balloon Yamazaki with him. As soon as Frank turns his attention toward the bevy of outstretched recorders and microphones and lets go of his defeated partner Yamazaki crumples to the floor. It couldn’t be helped, as Yamazaki was still a student and The Pale Emperor was one of the foremost submissionists walking the face of the Earth and he’d only just released that serious heel hook moments ago.
“GO GENSAI!”
The Hillbilly Behemoth is as wild-eyed as ever, bristling with piss and vinegar and looking for a fight. The members of the press, to their credit, all manage to keep a respectable distance between themselves and Frank Dylan James.
“I bet ya think yer HOT SHIT pickin’ on the kid here!”
Spittle flies, only slightly filtered by wiry facial hair.
“You’n yer underachievin’ sum-bitch of partner did everything ya could to keep mah big ass outta the fight so y’all could take advantage’a the kid here, an’ th’ way I see it that ain’t nothin’ but a bunch’a yella-bellied bullSHIT!”’
Yamazaki howls in either pain or agreement from the floor.
“You tell ‘em Yakazoofee!”
A few of the bloggers and casters can’t help but to chuckle. Frank, oblivious, continues, finding a central point in the gathered press to focus and he speaks as if directly to Go Gensai himself.
“Now lis’en here ya geriatric bastard, ya might think it’s yer plan to run all the foreigners the hell outta Japan, an’ ya might even get the job done on some’a them Lion’s Road boys, but me’n you both know that th’ only thing you did out there tonight when ya got within grabbin’ distance of ol’ Frank was run yer ass in the other direction!
Where’n th’ hell was all’a that big talk when ya had yaself a chance?”
Frank grins his broken-toothed grin.
“No-fugghin-where, that’s where!
So let me put it to ya like this, boy.
Since we both know that you ain’t got the BAWLS to get out in that ring by yer damn self in front’a Frank Dylan James an’ throw hands like a grown ass man, maybe ah just come find yer sorry ass, drag ya out ta the ring an’ treat ya like a little boy done got took out behind the WOODSHED!
Ya see ol’ Frank ain’t got no gyat-damn qualms about callin’ his shots around here! As a matter’a fact I prefer fer ig’nant bastards such as yaself ta know that I’m comin’ fer ya! Ah want ya to think about it, let it stew in that pot’a piss you call a noggin’ fer a while so that when I catch ya and get finished with ya, ain’t gon’ be no doubt about who it was done WHIPPED YER SILLY ASS~!”
After a moment of hushed murmuring resulting in no questions from the press types, Frank returns his attention to the injured man at his feet. He shakes his head in mild disgust before leaning down and pulling Yamazaki up to his… well… foot. Recognizing the plea in his partner’s eyes, Frank lifts him up bodily and tosses him easily over a shoulder.
“Come on’ Yakazoofee, we gon’ drink till that foot’a yers feels better! That’re ya get so drunk ya find ya a good fat girl ta drown yer sorrows inta!”
With that, Frank takes off in the same direction as Gensai before him.
