We’ve got two news updates today ~ kick it!
Fan Fest announced for 1/26!!!
Fighters from around the world are gathering to join MAX-J’s worldwide TOUKON ROAD super-tour. With the first leg of this tour, BLITZ PACIFICA, already announced to begin on 2/9, GM Masaaki Sano announced an exhibition series to get the fighters prepped.
The PUNCH + KICK FESTIVAL!! will take place on 1/26 and we will finally see who has the strongest strikes in the company, separating of course between the junior heavy and heavyweight classes. As something of a fan fest and a send-off for the fighters, we expect a lot of merchandise to be floating around and lots of media access to the fighters who will soon embark on TOUKON ROAD.

MAX Royal Road Championship Tournament ~ 16 fighters…!!
We learned a bit more about the upcoming tournament. It will feature 16 fighters, though the exact participants have not yet been announced. We do know that Associate Head Trainer Mike Musket has petitioned the company to allow his students in MAX Dojo to fight in the tournament, telling management that with a month to whip them into shape he’ll have them “gold ready”. Given his status in the company’s history, it would be surprising if his request went unfulfilled.
Things only get more exciting! We’ll see you next week!
