Honestly I think we're heading for something very different from WCW. You have guys who are doing things that are new, or at least are trying to. They're going for talent of name power which is what WCW refused to do and it blew up in their face.

All sorts of different styles personalities and characters, with all that I think we're headed for something interesting, especially given they have the financial backing of one of the richest men in America, and may be getting a TV deal on a major network.

It's a great combination: A unique brand of wrestling with mainstream acknowledgement.

I love it. You got four guys who want to do something new and different backed by a life-long wrestling fan and tape trader turned internet mark who loves the business. If they play the long game, this is the best possible thing for the business. Throw into consideration that HHH is taking more and more power in WWE, hopefully, sooner than later we can actually have some American wrestling on TV again that's worth not just watching, but being proud of!

Not to mention Tony Khan is one of the smartest business men alive, he's smart enough to know what he doesn't know, so he'll likely leave the wrestling to the experts and let them do what they will, while he handles the business side of things.

Add to that the unique contracts which allow high level financial security, plus the freedom to do what you want to it makes for a perfect storm.
