“Keep them away! Keep those little brats away!”
Arnold Cunningham, resplendent in his puce tuxedo, the canary yellow bow tie shining, waves his Xpress Fighting Systems tennis racket around his head. The MaxJ officials scatter, each trying to hold back children from the duo of the bespeckled manager and his giant charge.
“Only HEAVYWEIGHTS get to take pictures with the Mountain! Send these little brats to Canda, for all I care! Those silly Canucks think that 185 pounds makes a heavyweight? Ha!”
Many wrestlers stand in the ring, taking pictures with the fans after the second day of the Blitz Pacifica tour ended, but Arnold keeps any of those fans away from his client. Shinjiro Nakama, freshly showered after his quarter final victory over Tokyo Zombie, stands against the corner ropes and away from everyone. But as the spokesman for his fighting camp continues to rant and rave, he reaches forward and places a catcher’s mitt sized hand on the short man’s shoulder. Cunningman looks up into the giant man’s strangely blue eyes with a shocked look on his face.
“Let them come.”
Arnold’s eyes go wide behind his glasses and his face turns red, but he eventually relents.
As was discussed in every wrestling and combat sports magazine the following day all throughout Hong Kong, the children screamed with joy as they ascended the Mountain, her placed upon his shoulders, and gifted the meet and greet of a lifetime.
