A MAX-Japan logo hanged on the wall facing the press people with notepads, cameras, and questions to prepare. Suddenly, Chris Ravenna was walking slowly towards the chair in front of the press. He was so upset that he has no time for answering some of their questions. However, he has something to say.
(I’ve been thinking about it, and as you can see it, yes, I’ve lost. Now the price of that defeat was the Junior Heavyweight Championship.)
(Defeat is so bitter and humiliating for me to experience. To be honest, I could’ve won and passed at least one title defense. And I’ve admitted it, I’m pretty much overconfident about it.)
(I let my arrogance take over me, losing my focus and now my title to Edwards.)
Ravenna gave everyone in the press a nod.
“Magiging mahusay siyang kampeon. (He will be a great champion. Supposedly, that title should represent MAXIMUM Japan, one of the leading wrestling promotions in Asia. The champion should show what he have learned from Japan in Asia. I should’ve won and represented the lowly Southeast Asia. But I was getting sloppy and ahead of myself.)
(James Edwards, he was a guy with a great work ethic. When I faced him, I saw a spiritual successor of Eron Hunter. I won’t accept that the title should fall to the hands of any Westerner but him.)
Chris Ravenna gave them a smirk on his face.
"Mahusay ka, Edwards. Kaya Ibinabati kita. (Edwards, you are a great fighter. I must congratulate you for you. However, when I found myself again, I will surely kick your face and take that title back.)
(For now, my friends, the title is in the good hands.)
“Enjoy your new Junior Heavyweight Champion.”
Ravenna went on his way slowly meeting up with his group. He glanced at concerned Max Eldritch and also his younger brother Paco. He looked at the expressions of the upset Lolo Tasyo and Isidra looking down on him. Ravenna reacted nothing but a pat on the shoulders of his little brother.
