“Talking trash, aren’t we?”
-Ravenna concluded after watching Nakama's promo.
Ravenna started a promo with a skull insignia backdrop and a sarcastic smile showing on the camera.
“Shinjiro Nakama, you have a good run for being a Royal Road Champion successfully defended in third defense. However, let me tell you something. And I’m not talking to you, Assfart Cummingham. I’m talking to the big guy.”
“Putang ina pagmumukha mo! Mascot ka lang para sa amo mo.” (You son of a bitch! You are just a mascot for your boss.)
Ravenna cast a smug as he explained.
“It’s funny how you ignore our match at Day 4 of EUROPA RUSH tour, pendejo. I remembered how scared you are at that time when I kept striking your calves. You can’t stand the kicks to your shin anymore, didn’t you? That’s why you tagged Ishii back in. It ended in a stalemate! I have the balls to do that, and it was because I faced taller opponents before and beat them. Ask Hammerstein, your previous tag partner on how I knocked him down with Artikulo Uno! True that I lost to both of you, but Hamada cost that match! And yeah, I didn’t do anything to win that bout. Well, tell that to your match with Ishii against the Ghost Army. You haven’t done a thing to score a victory over them.”
“I’m curious how you prevailed Ghost Army’s Gensai once in the battle royal while he beat you not once, but FOUR FUCKIN’ TIMES! What’s worst is that on the next day after your previous match against him, I prevailed over him in an intense singles match. One time, you tapped out on Gensai’s Heel Hook in 2018 Sword of Lite Prix. Then you never appeared on any upcoming MAX-Japan show after until you participated in the Royal Road Championship tournament. As for me, I suffered consecutive losses back then, but I never give up knowing that I can score a victory again. And it came true when I beat Toyama in the sports-form match.”
“It’s no surprise that I lost Jr. Heavyweight Championship to Edwards because I lost the fire that led me to that belt. But now I found it again! What’s interesting is that it wasn’t warm, it’s the opposite: A COLD HEART! I fought my matches against the likes of Lynx with it!"
“Speaking of a cold heart....”
“GM Sano issued a surprise challenge for the Jr. Heavyweight Champion. However, I will refuse to face him for that title. I have a rematch against him on April 18 at the other promotion. Guess the “Cold Heart” vs. “Burning Heart” will keep on the shelf for the time being.”
“I will set my focus on Nakama for the Championship. Unlike me, Nakama set his eyes not only me also the current World Heavyweight champion, FDJ. That made it easier for me to beat him in the upcoming bout. And when I defeat him, I will finally show everyone once more that I’ve taken MAX-Japan by storm as I become the champion of Southeast Asia.”
“On April 13, I will show you why they call me “Tirador”, Nakama. I will finish the stalemate that we left in our previous encounter as I keep damaging your calves until it reaches to its knees. I will lock my submission on your injured leg just as what Gensai did. And finally, I will defeat you becoming the next person who dominated over you.”
“After that, I will keep my momentum going by defeating anyone who has underestimated me.”
“Ika-13 ng Abril, MAGKITA TAYO NAKAMA!”
Ravenna threw the camera in anger, and it went black.
Ravenna found himself in solitude inside the storage of his truck. He meditated after his intense training in preparation for his upcoming matches. He prayed to God asking for his success in the Champion's Gulf tour. Here are some of his thoughts:
“Because of the EUROPA RUSH tour, everyone kept saying to me that I’m a struggling midcarder. But when I beat the likes of Toyama, AJ Knight and Go Gensai. I saw that it was the beginning of my redemption. It will end when I beat “The Mountain” and become the Royal Road Champion. And if that happens…”
Ravenna smirked.
“…everyone will change their opinions about me proving that I’m the rising star in Asia! I will beat Nakama just like what ZENKI, Gensai, and Zombie did and become the no.1 ranked fighter to win the TOUKON CUP!”
