An environmental activist during his university days, he spent years protesting in support of climate change policies and speaking out about over-fishing. After his studies he continued to work at a struggling non-profit. It was then he hoped to leverage his background in gymnastics and decided to pursue a career in pro-wrestling to support donations for the non-profit environmental group he supports. After a year long excursion to Mexico, he has returned to Japan to wrestle competitively. While many respect his political activism, the trainers at MAX Dojo are not sure whether he is committed to the art of pro-wrestling. Some believe he cares more about publicity and theatrics than mastery of the craft, which has caused some tension in the dojo. Nevertheless, his talent and athleticism shone through and he graduated in 2018.
