TIRADORES (stylized in all capital letters)
ALIGNMENT:
Tweener (leaning to Heel)
MEMBERS:
Chris Ravenna (who has a Kickboxing background)
Shigeru Toyama (who has a Judo background)
BACKGROUND:
Ravenna and Toyama had a history when they faced each other at SEMPER INVICTUS on March 23, 2019. They found themselves in the same interest as they have similar shoot background. Knowing that Ravenna had a career in MMA, Toyama stepped in to teach and train him some of his Judo technique for his upcoming MMA fights. Together with Ravenna and Toyama, they formed as TIRADORES.
The longer name for the group was Tiradores de la Muerte (or Marksman/Sharpshooters of Death in English), a reference to an elite unit formed by General Antonio Luna to serve under the Philippine Revolutionary Army. Their vision was to keep the former General Manager Masaaki "Genki" Sano’s passion alive that is to preserve the art of shoot wrestling. Thus, the duo operated themselves as a special unit.
They believed that no one valued shoot wrestling than the group itself. For one to join the unit, they required at least one martial art background, and have been trained for shoot fighting competition.
