“There’s a reason why the Gaijin GOATs took Max Japan’s Toukon Tournament by the balls…”
We open on The Greatest of All Time standing in front of a Max Japan banner. However, over the angry MaxJ tiger, Danielson has spray painted a goat with the words “GOATs Road” painted all over it. Billy Danielson looks into the camera with stoic arrogance, as he smirks.
“It’s because the level of talent in Maximum Japan Pro-Wrestling is subpar at best. AJ and I destroyed basically the entire roster in one night. It was like a repeat of what I did in the Laurentide Cup last year, but at a bigger scale.
We defeated the Max Japan Heavyweight Champion, Junior Heavyweight Champion, and Lion’s Road TV Champion all in the same night. Everyone of note in this company crumbled before us, and we were the ones who stood tall.
However, this week isn’t about the Toukon Tournament of last week… is it?”
A dramatic pause. There’s an electric air about him, and the confidence just seems to ooze from him.
“No, you see, this week is about the J1 Summit, and though AJ and I are in separate blocks, we’re still going to be the one to in the finals. We’re going to be the ones who make it into the finals, because everytime one of us step into a Max Japan ring, we shake the company to it’s very core.”
He starts to pace back and forth as he feels his energy start to build up.
“Guys like GRIM, Naoki Ojima, and “Roster Fodder” Romeo Jackson, they don’t stand a chance. What have they done? GRIM’s days are numbered as a champion in this company, Naoki is still hasn’t gotten out of his wrestling diapers yet, and nobody gives a single care about whoever the hell Romeo Jackson is.
This block contains three of the biggest reasons why Max Japan is going to shit, but it also has the one solution to fix it all. My opponents combined are about 1/15 of my stardom and skill level. This time next year, nobody will remember who these guys are, but I’ll still be here. I’ll still be the GOAT that saved Maximum Japan, because I am the only one with the capabilities to do so.”
As he continues his rant, his hands bounce along with every word, showing the emphasis he is trying to make. Since this time last year, Billy Danielson has been trying to “fix” Lion’s Road and Max Japan, and even though he had failed in his conquest of the King of the Lion’s championship, he still believed that he could be the man to carry this company.
“Even my partner in crime here in MaxJ, AJ Knight, has NEVER beaten me in a match.
Let me repeat that.
Not even AJ Knight has been able to beat me. Make no mistakes, AJ is my equal on a number of things, but when it comes to our record, he can’t touch me.”
He plants his foot, and turns back towards the camera.
“So if my equal here can’t beat me, how the hell can guys like GRIM, Naoki, and Rando McGee beat me? If the people holding championships in this company can’t stop me, how the hell can ANYONE in my block beat me?”
The smirk pops back up on his arrogant face.
“Short answer is they don’t.
Long answer is that GRIM, Naoki, and Insert Name Here are basically going to sit there and watch as I beat them all. They may struggle. They may fight me, but they will not beat me. Then when it’s just AJ and I, fighting mano y mano in the June 16th, I will remind him why he NEEDS me at his side, and not so much the other way around. I will remind all of you, why I am the Greatest of All Time and the solution to every problem Maximum Japan Pro Wrestling has right now.”
He pushes out his chest, and sort of poses to help emphasize that he is both of the things he had just said.
“This company has neither the right amount of talent nor the star power to stop Billy Danielson, and because of that, this year’s J1 Summit is mine to win. I will hold that J1 Summit trophy high in the air, as I begin the inoculation of Maximum Japan, so that for the first time in years
Things will finally...
Get...
GREAT!”
