An anonymous source has told this site that Unified World Champion Jacob Hammerstein collapsed backstage after his brutal match with Shinjiro Nakama at the J1 Summit Finals in Osaka. They say that the thirty-three year old Hammerstein was rushed to Saiseikai Nakatsu Hospital.
The source also stated that Hammerstein's wife was seen at Osaka International Airport, where he was met by what appeared to be a MAXIMUM official, who rushed her to a waiting car.
